The Bigger Vision community shelter here in Athens provides dinner and a place to sleep for 35 guests each night - and even more if the nights are below freezing. They kept going for the majority of the pandemic, closing only in outbreak situations. The shelter also provides a place for folks to take a shower and do laundry. My friend David works there, providing the community guests with what they need for the night and next day. He is really doing the work, and I have learned so much from him about sacrifice and service.
